1. Hindi feature film "Thore", written and produced by Rahul Sood, based on the theme of women's empowerment, has received the following awards:
a) At the Rajasthan Film Festival 2013, the Hindi feature film "Thore" received the Best Story Award.
b) At the Rajasthan International Film Festival 2015, "Thore" received the Special Theme Award.
2. Short Film – "Papa Nahi Manenge"
The short film "Papa Nahi Manenge", made by Rahul Sood along with students who participated in a filmmaking workshop at Jawahar Kala Kendra, received a Special Award at the Aryan International Children's Film Festival 2019.
3. Documentary Film – "Mazar-e-Laila Majnu"
"Mazar-e-Laila Majnu", written and produced by Rahul Sood, is a documentary promoting the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan. The film is based on the Laila–Majnu shrine located in Anupgarh and the annual fair organized there. The documentary has received the following awards and recognitions:
a) At the C.V.W. Foundation Film Festival 2020, Mumbai, the film received the Best Documentary Award in the National General Category. The documentary is based on the Laila–Majnu shrine in Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan.
b)"Mazar-e-Laila Majnu" was selected as a Finalist at the Artifact International Film Festival 2020.
c) The film received the Best Documentary Award at the Piggy Bank International Film Festival 2021, presented by Bollywood actor Raza Murad.
d) The film received an Award at the 10th Arunachal Film Festival 2025, organized by DIPR, Arunachal Pradesh.
4. Short Film – "Dementia"
"Dementia", written and produced by Rahul Sood, is an awareness-based documentary focusing on the serious disease of dementia. The film received the following recognitions:
a)"Dementia" was selected among the Top 20 Films at the National Science Film Festival of India 2020, organized by the Government of India, and was awarded a certificate.
b)"Dementia" was officially selected at the International Science Film Festival of India 2020, organized by the Government of India, and received a certificate.
c)"Dementia" was declared a Winner at the Rajasthan Film Festival 2021.
5. Short Film – "Brain Stroke"
"Brain Stroke", written and directed by Rahul Sood, is an awareness-based documentary focusing on the serious medical condition of brain stroke.
a) The film was selected among the Top 20 Films at the National Science Film Festival of India 2020, organized by the Government of India, and was awarded a certificate.
6. Documentary Film – "Myths Surrounding Kidney Transplant"
"Myths Surrounding Kidney Transplant", written and directed by Rahul Sood, is a documentary promoting awareness and encouraging organ transplantation. The film received the following recognitions:
a) The film was officially selected at the International Science Film Festival of India 2020, organized by the Government of India.
b)"Myths Surrounding Kidney Transplant" was officially selected for the International Science Festival organized by the Goethe-Institut, Germany. The film was screened in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka between October and December 2021.
c) At the Vardaan International Film Festival 2026, held in Delhi, "Myths Surrounding Kidney Transplant" received the First Prize, along with a cash award of ₹51,000, a Winner's Trophy, and a certificate.
7. Documentary Film – "Rikhia Bhajani"
"Rikhia Bhajani" is a documentary on the vanishing folk music tradition of Western Rajasthan, a form of devotional music based on oral tradition.
a) The film was officially selected for the Hollywood Best Indie Film Awards, USA – 2025.
b) The film was selected for the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards 2025, Mumbai.
8. Short Film – "Inspiring Aarav"
"Inspiring Aarav", written, directed, and produced by Rahul Sood, focuses on the human rights of children with disabilities and promotes inclusive education in schools.
The film received the Best Inspirational Film Award at the Lucknow International Film Festival 2026.
9. Documentary Film – "Shahrah – The Royal Route"
"Shahrah – The Royal Route", written, directed, and produced by Rahul Sood, is a documentary that seeks to preserve and promote the heritage of Rajasthan.
a) The film received the Third Prize at the Nagpur Film Festival 2026, along with a cash award of ₹11,000, a Winner's Trophy, and a certificate.
b) The film received the First Prize in the Documentary Category at the 11th Durgapur International Film Festival 2026, organized on 23 August 2026 at Nandan, Kolkata.
c) The film has been officially selected in the Short Documentary Category at the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) 2026, one of India's prestigious film festivals. The festival is scheduled to be held from 25 September to 30 September 2026 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
d) The film has been officially selected in the Documentary Category at the 5th World Film Festival of Kolkata 2026, scheduled to be held from 8 September to 13 September 2026 at Nandan, Kolkata, where nine selected documentary films will be screened.
e) The film has also been officially selected for the International Tagore Film Awards 2026, Kolkata, scheduled to be held on 31 October 2026 in Kolkata.
